A Practical Guide to Choosing the Right Tires for Your Vehicle
The right tire depends on approved size, vehicle use, load, and road conditions—not appearance or price alone.
Start with the approved vehicle size
Check the size recommended in the vehicle manual or shown on the current tire. It includes tire width, aspect ratio, and wheel diameter. Unplanned size changes may affect stability, comfort, and speedometer accuracy.
Define vehicle use and load
City driving, long-distance travel, rough roads, and commercial loads create different requirements. The tire load index and speed rating should not be below the values approved for the vehicle.
Inspect and maintain the tire
Review production date and storage condition and check for cracks or deformation. After installation, maintain correct pressure, wheel balance, and alignment, and consult a technician if uneven wear or vibration appears.
